As reported in our previous article, Hungary will participate in the 5th Global Digital Trade Expo (GDTE) for the first time as the event’s Guest of Honor Country. Taking place from 23 to 27 September 2026 in Hangzhou, one of China’s leading technology and innovation hubs, the expo will bring together an international professional audience. At the Hungarian pavilion, 13 companies and institutional partners will showcase the diversity of Hungarian expertise and export-ready solutions.

 

77 Elektronika has been developing, manufacturing and selling medical and in vitro diagnostic equipment for more than three decades. The Hungarian-owned company offers its own blood glucose monitoring devices, urine diagnostic systems and other medical electronics solutions on international markets, exporting its products to numerous countries around the world.

 

Bay Audio develops and manufactures premium loudspeakers. Its products are based on proprietary technology, the Bay Radial Speaker (BRS) system patented by Zoltán Bay. One of the company’s loudspeakers received the Hungarian Design Award in 2021.

 

Capriovus has been active in egg processing and the production of egg-based products for several decades. In addition to a wide range of egg products, the Hungarian-owned company also manufactures ingredients for industrial use. It combines extensive experience in the food industry with modern production technologies.

 

EN-CO Software develops custom software and digital solutions for businesses. Its services also include user-friendly web and application design, IT system operation and professional consulting. The company provides digital solutions for industrial businesses and supports its partners in integrating artificial intelligence-based technologies.

 

EPS Global develops smart parking and urban mobility solutions. Its technologies help cities manage parking spaces more efficiently and simplify the parking process, while also allowing for seamless integration into digital urban infrastructure. Its solutions contribute to the development of smart cities and the modernisation of urban mobility.

 

HELIA-D represents a Hungarian cosmetics brand with a history spanning more than four decades. The company combines traditional Hungarian expertise in cosmetics with modern product development. Its products are developed in the company’s own research laboratory, where around 2 million cosmetic products are manufactured annually.

 

Infuze Technologies operates in the fields of VR and AR technologies, robotics and drone technology. The company is an official distributor in Hungary of, among others, Unitree robotic dogs and CHASING underwater robots and drones, while also supplying VR and AR equipment. Its activities fit naturally into the rapidly developing world of immersive technologies showcased at GDTE.

 

Livestocker Solutions helps livestock farms operate more efficiently through digital solutions. Its system collects and analyses key data from pig and poultry farming, enabling farmers to monitor production more effectively, identify potential problems at an early stage and respond to them more quickly. The system also uses artificial intelligence to improve production efficiency and is already available in Chinese.

 

MEDICOR Diagnostics develops and manufactures X-ray diagnostic equipment. The company provides modern X-ray systems for a range of healthcare institutions, including remote-controlled and mobile devices. Its solutions support the day-to-day work of diagnostic services in hospitals and other healthcare settings.

 

Hungarian Innovation Agency plays a key role in developing Hungary’s innovation ecosystem and supporting the internationalisation of innovative Hungarian businesses. Among other activities, the agency helps startups and scaleups enter foreign markets, build international partnerships and participate in innovation programmes. As part of the XPAND programme connected to GDTE, the agency is also organising business opportunities in Hangzhou for Hungarian companies.

 

ProtectONE is participating in the Hungarian showcase with its chemical-free pest protection technologies. Under its TICKLESS brand, the company uses ultrasonic technology to repel ticks and fleas, offering solutions for adults, children and pets alike. Its products are available in more than 50 countries and have received several international design and product awards in recent years.

 

Semilab develops and manufactures measurement and inspection equipment used in the semiconductor industry. Its technologies are used, among other applications, in the production of microchips and other electronic components to ensure that products meet strict quality requirements. Its solutions are also used in the production of displays and solar panels.

 

Simon-Trans provides freight transport, warehouse logistics and production-support logistics services. The company also uses digital solutions to support logistics processes, including business intelligence-based IT systems and automated warehouse technologies. In 2026, it began developing a pharmaceutical logistics warehouse equipped with a new automated VNA system.

 

The diversity of the Hungarian presence at GDTE offers a clear picture of the wide range of fields in which Hungarian companies are competing successfully on international markets. This also matters from an international country-branding perspective: a Hungarian product that succeeds and finds demand abroad is tangible proof of the expertise, innovation and value behind the Made in Hungary label.
