After a 4-year hiatus, the SIAL Paris 2022 food industry trade show took place from 15-19 October 2022 as one of largest events in Europe in the sector. The exhibitors, visitors, manufacturers, importers, buyers and retailers attended the event from 127 different countries, alongside the representatives of the trade press and food associations.

Hungary hosted a national stand at the event - organised by the Agricultural Marketing Center - representing 32 Hungarian companies and their products.

From the range of exhibitors, one of the HEPA Hungarian Export Promotion Agency’s partner companies, Grapiola - which produces cold-pressed oils - won an award at SIAL in the “Sustainability Hero” category thanks to its zero waste system.

This year, the event focused on innovation with interactive lectures presenting the food industry innovations from a number of countries.

The Business Meetings Food Paris 2022 event hosted at SIAL was organized by the Enterprise Europe Network with the support of the HEPA. Exhibitors had a chance to establish various international business cooperation schemes through prearranged bilateral B2B negotiations and familiarize the characteristics of the market in question.
