Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary

In 2014, the Government of Hungary extended the diplomatic portfolio of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, which was originally limited to foreign policy matters. As a result, the Ministry became the main engine for boosting Hungary’s foreign economic activity. In order to strengthen Hungary’s position in overseas markets, the Ministry maintains a network of over 140 Commercial and Trade attachés. They employ economic diplomacy in order to serve Hungary’s foreign economic interests in the host countries, as well as aiming to increase Hungarian exports of goods and services. The aim of the Commercial and Trade attaché network is to aid Hungarian companies in strengthening the Hungarian economy in foreign markets, with relevant business information, partnerships, and company-specific solutions.



HEPA – Hungarian Export Promotion Agency

The SportTech Hungary programme was developed in accordance with the main goal of the Hungarian Export Promotion Agency (HEPA) Nonprofit Ltd. to promote innovative products and services created through the diligence and creativity of the Hungarian people on an international level, as well as positioning these companies within the international market. By way of this endeavour, domestic businesses receive the widest possible assistance in achieving their goals.Thanks to HEPA’s system of economic diplomacy and business relations, as well as the bold decisions made by Hungarian companies, world-class domestic products are able to enter international markets. HEPA currently operates six regional partner offices abroad - in Istanbul, Tokyo, Shanghai, Toronto, Belgrade and Moscow - which contribute to the promotion of cooperation between foreign partners and Hungarian companies by the mapping of local markets and their promotional activities.




Hungarian Export-Import Bank Private Limited Company (Eximbank)

The aim of the Hungarian Export-Import Bank Ltd. (Eximbank) and the Hungarian Export Credit Insurance Ltd. (MEHIB) is to provide efficient financing and insurance solutions for Hungarian exporters. The mission of Eximbank and MEHIB is to support domestic exporting companies by stimulating economic policy, promoting the preservation of jobs, the growth of employment and the expansion of Hungarian export capacities. The state-owned Eximbank and MEHIB, under the control of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, perform export credit agency tasks in Hungary, regulated by the OECD and EU frameworks, with the basic objective of promoting the sale of Hungarian goods and services in foreign markets.



Startup Campus

Startup Campus is an international innovation centre and startup incubator based in Europe. It develops and implements innovation programmes for its corporate and government partners: it supports innovative projects from the initial idea phase to SMEs (small and medium-sized enterprises) with high growth potential through education, incubation, investment, sales, and market entry services. These programmes are implemented by an international team, spread across three countries and in five cities. The mission of Startup Campus is to create value for society on a business basis.
