The Belagro Trade Fair in Minsk was held for the thirtieth time between 29 September and 4 October 2020, attracting 35,000 visitors and more than 360 exhibiting companies from 13 countries internationally.

Most of the major agricultural companies in the country and the region exhibited at the event. Thanks to the close cooperation of the Hungarian Export Promotion Agency, the AMC Agricultural Marketing Centre and the Embassy of Hungary in Belarus, a total of 22 companies were able to appear at the national stand, four of which - Bábolna Tetra, Agrofeed, Woodstock and Innovaster - were present. The four companies held nearly 90 substantive negotiations during the event. In addition to the exhibition stands of food companies, the participants also had the opportunity to visit the displayed, life-sized agricultural machines and breeding animals.

The Hungarian stand, which stood out for its size and modernity, attracted many visitors every day, and despite the pandemic, several successful negotiations and meetings took place between Hungarian companies and their foreign partners during the six-day international event. The Hungarian companies considered the trip to be very successful, they were especially grateful for the bilateral and company meetings organized with the support of the Agency. At the closing ceremony, Vladimir Vladimirovich Grakun, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus, thanked Hungary on behalf of the Ministry for its participation in the fair.
