The International Fair of Environment and Natural Resources Protection – EcoFair, which began on 14th of October 2024, is focusing on key topics such as the green economy, the recycling industry, and waste management.
The 3-day exhibition will promote environmental mechanisms and systems with a unique, economy-focused educational structure, built on the experience of previous years. The exhibition held in the Serbian capital Belgrade, stands as the most important and representative event of the region regarding the environmental sector. This is demonstrated by the comprehensive professional and exhibitor program, which brings together nearly all key players in the field of environmental protection.
Participants include organizations focused on soil, air, water, and other natural resources, recycling operators, providers of ecological services, municipalities, utility equipment manufacturers, NGOs, and institutions dedicated to environmental preservation. Thanks to HEPA Hungarian Export Promotion Agency, 10 Hungarian companies are present at the event, introduced on Hungary's national stand:
• Rimóczi és Társa Kft.: Specializes in industrial filtration solutions, including air duct cleaning and filter production.
• ENVECON Ltd.: Offers environmental consulting and project planning, focusing on waste management, wastewater treatment, and renewable energy projects.
• Water4All: A partnership addressing water security and freshwater research, supporting climate change challenges and the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.
• Metal Shredder Hungary Zrt.: Recycles electronic waste and recovers precious metals, processing discarded X-ray films.
• EURO-CLEAR Kft.: Designs and manufactures water treatment equipment for industrial and residential use.
• Palota Környezetvédelmi Kft.: Provides industrial waste management and recycling services, specializing in hazardous waste treatment.
• Forest-Vill Kft.: Designs and constructs electrical and energy facilities, including transformer stations and solar parks.
• Celitron Medical Kft.: Develops bio-waste treatment systems and steam sterilizers for medical and agricultural industries.
• Egrokorr Festékipari Zrt.: Produces paints and coatings for industrial and residential use.
• Kexport: A cluster of environmental companies offering comprehensive solutions for international projects.
On the sidelines of the exhibition, HEPA Hungarian Export Promotion Agency organized a Hungarian-Serbian Business Forum on the 14th of October, in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia. The aim of the event is to encourage the establishment of new economic relations and strenghten existing business cooperation between the actors of the two countries through vis-á-vis negotiations.
