While the 2026 autumn-winter exhibition season is only just getting underway, HEPA Hungarian Export Promotion Agency is already well into preparations for Hungary’s first international appearances of 2027. Participation in international, industry-specific trade exhibitions is one of the key pillars of export promotion. These events not only provide an excellent platform for establishing strong new business relationships around the world but also offer Hungarian companies valuable opportunities to showcase their expertise and innovations to international professional audiences.
In the remaining months of 2026, HEPA will present unified Hungarian national stands at eight international exhibitions, spanning from Italy and the United Arab Emirates all the way to China. These events will bring together leading players from a wide range of industries, including automotive, electronics and information and communications technology. And 2027 promises to be even busier: in January alone, we will ensure a strong and unified Hungarian presence at three major international trade events, covering the fields of technology, educational technology and healthcare.
Opening the door to the future
As is tradition, the season will kick off with the CES (Consumer Electronics Show) in Las Vegas, taking place from January 6 to 9. The event is once again expected to attract extensive international media attention. CES welcomes global technology giants such as Samsung, LG and Lenovo, while also serving as a key platform where many of the trends shaping the future of artificial intelligence, robotics and the wider technology sector are set. Hungarian innovations already attracted significant attention at last year’s event. In 2026, 13 Hungarian companies showcased their solutions at the HEPA national stand, with several of them establishing new business connections and concluding sales agreements directly at the event.
Shaping the future of education
From January 20 to 22, the next stop will be London, where the BETT UK (British Educational Training and Technology) exhibition will take place. Attracting around 37,000 professional visitors last year, BETT is one of the world’s leading events for educational technology. The exhibition focuses on digital learning and innovative solutions that are helping shape the future of education. Hungarian companies have also achieved remarkable results in this field. Last year, three Hungarian companies were named finalists at the BETT Awards, while several Hungarian innovations have received this prestigious recognition in recent years.
And finally: Off to Dubai!
The month will conclude in the United Arab Emirates with WHX (World Health Expo) Dubai. One of the world’s largest healthcare trade events, the expo attracts professional visitors from more than 195 countries, all looking to discover the latest developments in medical technology and healthcare. Last year, 13 Hungarian companies at the forefront of the healthcare sector presented their innovations and research at the Hungarian national stand. Together, they held nearly 600 relevant business meetings, contributing to export deals worth approximately USD 7 million.
We’re already preparing
Join us throughout this year’s and next year’s exhibition seasons. Coming soon, we will reveal which Hungarian companies will be joining us at our unified national stands, as well as the other international events where HEPA will be present – supporting Hungarian exporters in expanding their presence and building new opportunities in international markets.
