The World Expo will be held in April 2025 in Osaka and will showcase the latest innovations from around the world, including the following three projects:
Future city project – the city of happiness
One of the main attractions of the Osaka World Expo 2025 will be the Future City pavilion, which will offer insights into the potential problems of the future and its possible solutions through an interactive electronic platform.
The project covers five main areas: 'Society 5.0 and the Future City ', 'Environment and Energy', 'Transportation and Mobility', 'Manufacturer and Urban Development', and 'Food and Agriculture', according to a World Expo press release.
Wind Hunter – green hydrogen from wind power
Another noteworthy attraction at the World Expo is the Wind Hunter, a new generation of vessel for storing, transporting and producing green hydrogen from wind energy, which perfectly illustrates the potential of watercraft to transform and harness a natural energy source – wind energy.
Carbon sequestration cement – Can it solve global warming?
The CP Concrete Consortium is developing a cement that can sequester carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, both during the manufacturing process and after construction. At the Concrete Consortium pavilion, visitors to the World Expo will be able to watch an interactive short film on how "CP concrete" is helping to save the planet.
The Expo is also open to innovative Hungarian entrepreneurs who would like to show their projects and technologies. The accreditation of the Hungarian participants of the 2025 World Expo in Osaka is carried out with the support of the HEPA Hungarian Export Promotion Agency.
