HEPA is launching “The basics of foreign markets” online training

From 27 January 2022, HEPA will launch a new online training course entitled “The basics of foreign markets” for already exporting companies and also for those companies who are planning exports, as well as for individuals interested in the field.

 

The aim of the course is to draw the attention of Hungarian SMEs of the growth and innovation potential of exporting, to acquaint business decision-makers with the benefits of international business, and to expand the base of domestic export professionals by transferring up-to-date practical knowledge in a digital form.

 

The training developed by the Training Center of HEPA Export Academy, offers online video and e-learning curriculum in 5 modules, about 20 hours learning per each, thus helping the players of the Hungarian SME sector to strengthen their foreign market positions, reduce their risks and expand their market presence.

 

The training introduces the basic concepts related to export, the strategy of international marketing, branding and foreign sales, the process of concluding contracts and foreign trade transactions, and financial and insurance options that helps to reduce the risks of export activities.

 

In addition to theoretical knowledge, the curriculum conveys knowledge related to foreign market activities through case studies, examples from specific companies, detailed explanations and additional readings.

 

The lessons can be accessed flexible according to a busy scheduled business professional’s life, divided into 10-12 minute blocks, so each lesson can be conveniently finished next to a morning coffee or breakfast brake. During the training, the participant can progress at an individual pace, there is no deadline for completion. At the end of each module, you can use tests to measure your knowledge and also download a certificate. The instructors of the program are members of the Expert Board of the HEPA Export Academy, as well as leading experts in the field of foreign trade, marketing and financing in Hungary.

 

Teachers of Budapest Business University and the lecturers of the Metropolitan University, as well as experts from Eximbank, also participated in the elaboration of the teaching materials. The course is also available for Hungarian higher education students.
