Once again this year, leading and emerging companies from around the globe gathered at one of the most prominent hubs of industrial innovation, the Hannover Messe trade fair. Year after year, the event showcases the manufacturing, digitalization and sustainability technologies and solutions that are shaping the future of the global economy.
In 2026, more than 3,000 exhibitors, 1,600 speakers and approximately 123,000 professional visitors explored ideas and developments set to redefine global production and manufacturing in the near future. Hungarian innovators also played an important role in this process: seven Hungarian companies represented the country at the unified national stand, including machinery manufacturers, industrial equipment producers, digital service providers and maintenance specialists.
Traditionally, the exhibition is not only about presenting global industrial trends, challenges and innovations, but also about fostering dialogue and building business relationships. The organizers recognize that innovation alone is not enough to drive global industrial renewal. Cross-border cooperation and knowledge sharing are essential. Hannover Messe, along with similar international events, provides a prime platform for exactly this purpose.
This year’s event focused on the most relevant industry trends, with particular emphasis on automation, artificial intelligence, robotics, intelligent manufacturing systems and industrial digitalization. Hungarian companies are also at the forefront in these fields, as demonstrated at the Hungarian national stand, once again coordinated by HEPA Hungarian Export Promotion Agency. The seven exhibiting companies clearly contributed to strengthening the international visibility of Hungarian industry and laying the foundations for new export opportunities and strategic partnerships.
The companies at the Hungarian stand showcased the country’s innovation readiness and technological potential across a range of sectors:
Autoflex Knott: Premium quality trailer components
Bosko Hidraulika: High accuracy tube and cylinder technology
FERZOL: Custom-designed furniture and industrial storage systems
Geomant: Customer experience development, artificial intelligence and communication solutions
Itiner Digital: Innovative, cost-efficient no-code solutions
Mattor Maintenance: Industrial maintenance solutions for pressing, SMT and robotics
SANXO: Digital microscopy, machine vision and robotic automation
As part of Hannover Messe, the international Technology & Business Cooperation Days matchmaking event was once again organized by the Enterprise Europe Network. The initiative offered targeted business meetings to support international partnerships and market entry opportunities. During the event, eight Hungarian companies held a total of 116 bilateral meetings.
The 2026 Hannover Messe attracted significant international attention, as expected, and successfully laid the groundwork for numerous future collaborations. All of this further reinforces the global momentum of industrial transformation, one in which Hungarian innovation is present as a visible and competitive player.
